Have you ever walked or driven past this little structure and thought “I wonder whatever this was used for?” Most of the older residents of Huntly could tell you.
It used to be the Post Office, thought to be built around 1912. The building used to sit on the main road in front of the current Postmaster or Postmistress of the day.
During the time the building was used for a postal service it was relocated twice.
Then it moved for a third time in 1977 to its current position, after the postal service was operated from the general store.
