Activities

We aim to provide community activities to help the residents of Huntly feel healthy, happy and connected.

Community Dinner

We co-ordinate a monthly dinner at the Huntly Hotel

Held the last Wednesday each month at 6pm.

This dinner is an opportunity for you to get to know your neighbours, chat with other people in your home town, and to foster the small town feel we love about Huntly.

We aim to have a guest speaker each month. Our previous guests have included, CFA, SES, Landcare, BNDCE – Bendigo Northern District Community Enterprise, Ambulance Victoria, and Bendigo Region Women’s Shed.

If you would attend, or be invited as a guest speaker please contact us here.

Bus Outings

FREE day trips to surrounding areas of interest

The 3rd Monday of each month

We run monthly bus outings to surrounding areas of interest, offering our community members a chance to explore and enjoy new experiences together. Each trip is carefully planned to enrich, entertain, and educate, taking you to places steeped in local history, natural beauty, or cultural significance. It’s a wonderful opportunity to bond with fellow residents, create lasting memories, and discover the hidden gems right on our doorstep. Many thanks to the Huntly Hotel who generously provide catering and the curtesy bus free of charge!

Grants, Donations & Community Supporters

Our activities and services are powered by the extraordinary support we receive from our local community. This support enables us to provide services, community activities, and offer educational and engaging opportunities for everyone.

Whether it’s through the generous grants from our local council, the vital equipment and supplies donated by businesses, or the invaluable time and skills offered by individual community members and groups, each contribution is crucial to our success.
